Message from Associate Director
The Saraswati Group of Institutions (SGI) is amongst the premier Institute of the State of Uttrakhand. The Institute has, over the course of years, grown in a big way infrastructurally as well as academically and reckoned as one of the leading Institutions in the region. SGI students have been securing rank of merit in the overall examination results of the Uttarakhand Technical University. Last semester, one of SGI student of MBA had been amongst the first three rank holders in order of merit in the State of Uttrakhand . What is most heartening is that all the pass out graduates have been neatly pleased in employment in and around the State of Uttrakhand. They hold position of responsibility and dignity in various organizations.
The Institute is constantly on the march of progress. To further push its objective to provide learning facilities of quality education to as may young persons as possible, the SGI has expanded its intake to MBA from 60 to 90 and has doubled the intake of B.Ed. from 100 to 200 students. Plans are afoot to introduce M.Ed. degree course from the ensuing session. Further diversifications of Courses in engineering discipline is also under active consideration and steps are underway in this direction. Tie-up with foreign Universities is also on the anvil and may materialize any day.
Modernization of teaching process has been SGI’s endeavour for upgrading and making teaching effective for the educants. The Institute introduced this session on line teaching programme. Each student has been allotted ID No. and password as also the faculty members. The students can receive on line their lessons, lectures, take tests, home assignments as well as get the evaluation of their work carried out by respective teachers. Besides, they avail the opportunity of blogging activity on- line. Students status with regard to fee accounts, examination and sessional marks, attendance as well as their overall performance can also be visited by their parents on-line.
The SGI in its vision has plans to go ahead to hone the intellect and talent of the young generation of its students in order to make them worthy youth of their motherland.
